The practice was founded by Peter Dann in 1963, specialising in the design of building structures and related civil engineering works. In 1974 a partnership was formed and in 1986 the practice was registered as a limited company.
In 1995, Peter Dann Limited acquired the Bishops Stortford and London offices of Burt Millea Limited and BM Survey and Geotechnical Limited. P & T Riddington Limited was also acquired in 2005.
Today, the company undertakes consultancy work in most branches of the construction industry. We specialise within the fields of modular construction, telecommunications and tower design, processing plants and Xanadome, an inherently efficient form of structure designed to cover large open spaces.
